Jinan to Promote Women's Participation in Sci-Tech Innovation

 March 15, 2023

A meeting to promote the development of women scientific and technological workers was held in Jinan, capital city of East China's Shandong Province, on March 7, ahead of International Women's Day, which fell on March 8. The meeting aimed to build a platform of communication, industrial cooperation and policy support for women sci-tech workers.

According to the conference, Jinan will further promote the participation of women sci-tech workers in sci-tech projects and in management and decision making and help them play a leading role in core technologies in key fields, to contribute women's strength to scientific and technological development.

A series of activities will be held to publicize the stories of role model women workers, inspire the potential of women scientific and technological workers in sci-tech innovation, and encourage them to become pioneers to achieve greater self-reliance and strength in science and technology.
